The Russian Language for Beginners is an online course for those who have no command of Russian and wish to get the basics of the language in 7 weeks.The course is designed for 7 weeks (approximately 40 hours) and covers 7 topics. It provides instruction and practice in spoken and written Russian to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
In the course you will find video and audio materials
recorded by native speakers. The exercises are designed to provide immediate feedback to learners and to deliver language drills and skill practice. The tasks and assignments are abundant and diverse as well as engaging including audio and video resources.
During seven weeks you will be able to learn the language with people from different countries and the native speaker tutor, who will monitor, facilitate and check your written assignments.
After completion of the course you will be able to
- recognize basic units of phonetic, lexical and
grammatical structures in simple texts;
- read and understand short and simple texts related to
the covered topics;
-understand and use familiar everyday expressions and
very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs related to studied topics;
- interact in a simple way provided the other person
talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help;
