Creator notes:

Organisations are requested to contact if they plan to deliver this course. Organisations are strongly advised to study the accompanying Quality Framework User’s Guide which outlines how to plan for course delivery through a series of specific questions on a range of issues.

We recommend a class size of 15 participants per cohort.  The course must be facilitated by a tutor as it strongly promotes collaboration and sharing of carers’ experiences through moderated discussion forums. The course also promotes self-reflection and asks participants to complete and upload a weekly care delivery action plan. For these reasons, the tutor should be subject matter expert on dementia, should be trained on how to use Moodle and should be trained on moderating forums.
